Columbus, Ohio – Flagger Force, an industry-leading, Safety-Driven®, short-term traffic control company with operations that span the eastern third of the United States, announces the opening of a new facility in Columbus, Ohio. This strategic expansion allows Flagger Force to provide reliable traffic management solutions to utility, telecommunications, and other infrastructure-centered clients in the region and across the entire state.

“Flagger Force was founded in Central Pennsylvania, making our expansion into the neighboring state of Ohio a natural step in our continued growth strategy,” said Mike Doner, Flagger Force’s President and CEO. “Columbus is a growing area with significant infrastructure investment. Expanding Flagger Force’s presence into Ohio allows us to localize our operations and crews, while bringing large-scale resources, in-depth experience, and innovative technologies to our client’s critical infrastructure projects across the state.”

Leveraging innovative tools and technologies, Flagger Force has established a crew-centric model, making each work zone a central point of operations and management. The new facility, located at 3776 E 5th Ave in Columbus, Ohio, will serve as a hub for local crew members and the company’s best-in-class equipment. Having a facility in Ohio will allow the company to quickly deploy traffic control professionals and equipment to projects throughout the state. The space will feature classrooms for in-person training and other activities. Flagger Force has already begun to hire talented individuals within the region and has seen a significant request for services to meet the demand for professional traffic control management in Ohio.

As a leader in short-term traffic control with a full-time employee base of more than 2,500 professionals, Flagger Force establishes over 1,000 active work zones daily from Pennsylvania to Florida and all points in between. Most recently, the company has expanded its operations in the Midwest and South in states such as Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee, in addition to its growth in Ohio.

“We look forward to continuing to build strong partnerships with clients across Ohio and helping to keep the lights on, gas flowing, and roads operational. At Flagger Force, we are committed to keeping our communities moving and we achieve that by not only supporting critical infrastructure projects, but also by providing gainful employment with advancement opportunities and investing in the areas we serve,” said Mike Doner.
