WHAT IS THE CREW MEMBER INCENTIVE PROGRAM?

Crew members employed with Flagger Force who remain in good standing are eligible to participate.
There are two program sessions. For the Summer Program must be a crew member by June 1 to qualify. For the Fall Program you must be a crew
member by September 1 to qualify.Accept job assignments to meet the minimum hourly requirement of 320 hours per program session.
Avoid accruing points during the program sessions to remain eligible.
Unreported truck damage is an automatic disqualification from the program.

HOW DO I CHECK MY STATUS?

Log into The Incentive Portal using your last name and employee ID number to keep track of your rank, hours, and eligibility.

HOW DO I KNOW IF I AM ELIGIBLE?

You are eligible for the Spring Program if:
- You were hired before June 1
- Work at least 320 hours during the Summer Program (June-August)
- Stay within the boundaries of the accrued points
- You remain an active crew member at the time of payout
- You are eligible for the Fall Program if:
- You were hired before September 1
- Work at least 320 hours during the Spring Program (September-November)
- Stay within the boundaries of the accrued points
- You remain an active crew member at the time of payout
You will become ineligible if you are suspended for any length of time during the measurement period(s).
You are ineligible for the Crew Member Incentive Program if you became a crew member resulting from your demotion from the position of Crew Leader or Advanced Crew Leader.

WHERE DO I FIND MY EMPLOYEE ID NUMBER?

Your employee ID number can be found on your Flagger Identification Badge under your photo.

WHAT AM I BEING SCORED ON?

Flagger Force employees are being measured on:
- Call Offs
- Active Refusals
- Inactive Refusals
- Late Arrivals
- Requested Replacements
- First Call Unreachable
- PPE Safety Glasses
Note: Only the points deducted from your points account during the incentive program count against your grade.

HOW ARE THE RANKING CRITERIA MEASURED AND SCORED?

Active Refusals
Active Refusal means the Employee takes action by declining a job assignment provided to the Employee by the Employer. The Employee must communicate by the preferred communication method of the Employer provided mobile applications, specifically the dispatch application. The
Employee may also communicate an active refusal via phone call to the OSC.- Any reasonable active refusal does not count. These include:
- Distance requested to drive is greater than 30 miles as the crow flies.
- Requested work that would require over 16 straight hours on duty.
- Requested work that would require over 16 hours in a 24-hour period.
- Refusals on the ITZ app do not count and are not tracked. The ITZ app is not an official means of communication for confirming/refusing jobs.
Call Offs
Reasonable call offs are:
- Employee has a medical emergency for themselves or immediate family member (spouse, child, parent) if documentation from health care provider is provided within 48 hours of the date of call off.
- Employee has a personal vehicle emergency if documentation from roadside response or mechanic is provided within 48 hours of the date of call off.
- The prior confirmed assignment would require over 16 straight hours on duty.
- The prior confirmed assignment would require over 16 hours in a 24-hour period.
Inactive Refusals
Inactive Refusal means the Employee has taken no action to decline or accept a job assignment by 5:00 PM daily, or within 90 minutes for job assignments received after 5:00 PM. Inactive Refusals may occur during and outside of Dispatch.
Exceptions include:
- Verified hospitalization during primary dispatch timeframe
- Other HR-approved reason
Late Arrivals
Late Arrivals means the employee is late to work, arriving after scheduled job assignment start time.
Requested Replacements
Requested Replacements means the employee requests to be replaced on a job assignment at or after the job assignment start time for any
reason.First Call Unreachable
First Call Unreachable means the employee First Call means the Employee was not assigned to a job assignment for the following day.
Employees on First Call are to be available, ready to report to a job assignment, and able to be reached by the Employer via phone or tablet from 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM, on any day, Monday thru Friday, in which they do not have a job assignment.
When on First Call, Employees should answer all phone calls from the Employer or promptly return any missed calls from the Employer. An Employee promptly returns a missed call if they respond back via phone to the Employer within a maximum of 30 minutes from initial contact. It is recommended that Employees on first call should be ready to report to a job assignment by being able to leave within 20 minutes of accepting a job assignment while on first call.

WHAT ARE THE AWARD CATEGORIES AND HOW MUCH MONEY CAN I EARN?

There are three award categories for the Crew Member Incentive Summer and Fall Programs:
EXCELLENT: those with 6 or less infraction counts and 6-10 points remaining in their points bank.
For Summer the payout is $225 and for Fall the payout is $225
AVERAGE: Those with 7-12 infraction counts and/or 1-5 points remaining in their points bank
For Summer the payout is $150 and for Fall the payout is $150
NEEDS IMPROVEMENT: Those with more than 12 infraction counts and/or 0 points or less remaining in their points bank.” Individuals in this category can keep striving to improve for the next program. There is no payout for this rank.
Cash awards are given based on the amount of the above criteria and the points withdrawn because of them. Plus, you have the opportunity to
receive a bonus for both the Summer and Fall programs.Note: only the points deducted from your points account during the incentive program count against your rank.

WHEN DO THE CASH BONUSES GET AWARDED?

Cash bonuses will be awarded to those who qualify at the end of each program. Payout for the Summer Program is in September and December for the Fall Program.
