Flagger Force, an industry-leading, Safety-Driven®, short-term traffic control company with operations that span the eastern third of the United States, is pleased to announce their Workforce Development and Public Affairs Manager, Shea Zwerver, has been named a 2025 Women of Influence honoree by the Central Penn Business Journal (CPBJ). Honorees were selected by an outside panel of judges and CPBJ editors based on their professional experience, community involvement, and commitment to inspiring change across Central Pennsylvania and beyond.
Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, Managing Director of BridgeTower Media/CPBJ shared, “The 2025 Women of Influence are high-achieving role models who mentor and encourage future generations to pursue their own paths and ambitions.”
As Flagger Force’s Workforce Development and Public Affairs Manager, Zwerver is responsible for building strategic partnerships, overseeing government relations across the company’s expanding footprint, and helping grow Flagger Force’s frontline workforce. She plays an instrumental role in supporting the company’s fair-chance hiring efforts, which consider candidates of all experience levels and backgrounds who may have a criminal history and be reentering the workforce after incarceration. Zwerver also advocates for criminal legal system reform to remove barriers and help bring more people into the workforce. Her efforts have provided individuals with opportunities to pursue rewarding career paths and create positive changes in the communities where they live, work, and play.
“I am honored to be named a 2025 Women of Influence honoree. I came to Flagger Force because of their commitment to fair-chance hiring and the opportunity to help remove barriers to employment. In my role, I get to advocate for those often overlooked in the workforce and collaborate with government partners to advance more inclusive hiring and training pathways,” said Shea Zwerver, Workforce Development and Public Affairs Manager at Flagger Force. “I am honored to be included among this group of women being recognized.”
Zwerver, along with the other 2025 Women of Influence honorees, will be recognized during a dinner and awards program at the Sheraton Harrisburg Hershey Hotel on Wednesday, June 25.
