Flagger Force is pleased to announce that Matt Craley, associate vice president of risk and safety; Tamara Palmer, internal communications manager; and Shea Zwerver, workforce development and public affairs manager, have been selected to speak at the Pennsylvania Society of Land Surveyors’ Conference to be held in Hershey, Pennsylvania, January 12 to 15, 2025. The four-day event provides an opportunity for industry professionals, contractors, vendors, and organizations who work across the land surveying space to network, explore best practices, and share innovative techniques and ideas.
During the Pennsylvania Society of Land Surveyors’ Conference, Matt Craley will lead an educational session titled Reducing Liability in the Work Zone. He will present critical insights into work zone safety, including effective use of safety equipment, best practices for setting up and maintaining safe work zones, and understanding the impact of traffic control measures. Matt’s presentation will include real-world examples and actionable advice, so attendees will gain valuable knowledge to ensure their safety and that of others in the field.
Tamara Palmer and Shea Zwerver will lead a session titled Engaging and Developing a Dispersed Workforce. They will share tips on how to effectively communicate with and engage deskless and dispersed teams, strategies that empower employees with the resources and training necessary to succeed in their roles, and internal programs that have been proven to help individuals grow professionally and personally. Tamara and Shea’s presentation will include firsthand experiences and key takeaways for organizations who are considering enhancing their internal communications and workforce development strategies and programs.
